This ain't your mama's blog

Why, as we get older do we insist on ignoring the fact the we are getting older. We dress younger than we should, talk younger than we should, we try to be friends with our kids instead of parents. Why do we not understand that with age comes wisdom not irrelevance? We seem to think that once we hit a certain age the world views us as obsolete, last years model, when instead we should be seen as proof of past, example of future, and the holder of the present.
